Each year concerned Montgomery County citizens and animal services officers bring Second Chance Wildlife Center about 3,000 distressed native wild animals — songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, squirrels, groundhogs, chipmunks, bats, rabbits, turtles, and a host of other native species — for medical treatment, attentive care, and release. The mission of Second Chance is to provide compassionate, rehabilitative care to these orphaned, ill, and injured wild animals, and to advise our community on helping animals.
Come raise a glass in support of Second Chance Wildlife Center on Sunday, Sept. 2 from 6-9pm at the Olney Winery. Members of Second Chance Wildlife Center will be there to answer your questions about what to do when you find a sick or orphaned wildlife animal, and you can learn more about how you can help wildlife in your own backyard!
Tickets are $25 per person ($30 at the door) and include:
A portion of proceeds from the sale of each ticket and from each bottle of wine sold at the event will be donated directly to Second Chance Wildlife Center. So, come and support Second Chance Wildlife Center! As a non-profit organization, Second Chance Wildlife Center relies on public donations to continue its work. The average cost to rehabilitate a single animal is $75 so know your donation will be put to good use.
Bookings are closed for this event.
