Join us for a Holiday Candy Cane and Wine Tasting In Support of the Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department! Celebrate the holidays and experience fine wine, fun pairings, and a great time!

Ever wonder about what wine pairs best with the flavors of bacon or pickle? We have the night for you! Enjoy some of the nontraditional holiday treat flavors, while kicking back some of these amazing local wineries selections. Need a holiday gift (maybe white elephant), be the talk of the town bringing your conversation-starting pairing of Bacon candy canes and… you’ll have to come by to find out!

Join the heroes of our community as they raise money to continue to serve the greater Olney/Sandy Spring area. Your money goes to updated life-saving equipment, new apparatus, and training.

Tickets are $25 in advance. $30 at the door. Your ticket includes:

A tasting of five wines
A tasting of five adventurous candy cane flavors (Bacon, Pickle, Buttered Popcorn, Hot Chocolate, etc.)
A coupon for $3 towards the purchase of your first bottle of wine (available for use the day of the event $10 of each bottle purchased goes to support the SSVFD)!
A portion of each ticket is tax-deductible.

The Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department is a volunteer, non-profit fire, rescue and EMS department with a primary response area that includes the Olney, Sandy Spring, Ashton, Leisure World, and surrounding communities. We respond over 6,000 calls for service annually across our response area.

We plan and invest in state-of-the-art equipment and training, to enable safe and effective responses for when our community needs it the most. We hope you never need our help, but we are always there if you do.
